We have been using these great O symetric ring from Stronglight for about a year now and we can only say good things about them. The feeling you get is like riding a fixed as it is smooth over top dead center. We have found you can push a bigger gear faster on the flat but spin easier on the hills. My wife has gone from a compact 34/50 round rings to a 42/52 O symetric and found it just as easy climbing, you just go faster. The hardest thing is going back to standard rings on the winter bikes as you find it harder to push over the dead spot. £200 for a pair of chain rings is not cheap but we think it is a small price to add performance. Just had a extra sets in for our T.T. bikes cant wait to try.
