Our engineers designed the Fluid 2 to capture real road feel through the use of a 2.75 lb individually precision balanced flywheel for more momentum and stability of your rear wheel. And just like riding outside, simply shift gears to increase or decrease resistance. When you spin your wheels on the Fluid2 it feels like you are actually getting somewhere.
The Power Training Kit comes with the CycleOps PowerCal Power Meter and a Joule cycling computer so you can train with power. The CycleOps PowerCal is the worlds first ever power meter calculated from heart rate. The algorithms in PowerCal translate heart rate data into the vernacular of power-based training- watts, kilojoules, peak power, etc. Use the PowerCal with the included CycleOps Speed Sensor, which can be configured to detect speed or cadence. The Joule is the perfect training companion offering 18 metrics to help you measure your progress including power, heart rate, speed, distance, and altitude.
We have also adjusted fluid levels for better resistance and improved the position of sealed cartridge bearings for better inertia and an ultra quiet ride that ensures increased wattage as you increase your speed.
