Spoke protector

The humble spoke protector should it make a come back? YES !!!!.  This small plastic disk sits between the cassette or freewheel and the spokes. What does it do?.  If you bend your gear hanger on your frame there is nothing stopping your derailleur going into the wheel and causing no end of damage that can cost a small fortune to repair. With this disc sitting between it will allow the derailleur to rub against it stopping it from coming into contact with the spokes.
Be warned check your hanger before every ride or if it has fallen over. If in doubt pop it in and we can check it for free.
